Degree– B.A. in Elementary Education

Experience– 6 years teaching in public schools, 7 years in private preschool setting, Ohio Early Learning Content Standards Overview & Science Trainer, Writing Team member for Ohio’s Core Knowledge and Competencies for Afterschool Professionals

Favorite thing about Imagination Station– Watching the children learn so quickly. They can accomplish much when given the opportunity and encouragement. I also love working with a staff that truly cares for children and make coming to work enjoyable every day. We have an EXCELLENT staff.

Greetings from Imagination Station!

Happy Winter! The kids at Imagination Station are enjoying the unusual weather and playing outside while it is not wet and cold. We know that Old Man Winter will hit us soon though! If we do receive a lot of snow and are forced to close, we will contact parents. We have only closed one day in over 5 years of operation. If we can get enough staff into the building, we are open. Until then, we are taking advantage of the extra outdoor time!

We are happy to announce that we passed our Step Up to Quality inspection and earned the award for the fifth year in a row. We will receive our monetary award sometime at the end of winter/beginning of spring. We are planning on purchasing a new furnace and other extra/wanted things for the classrooms, depending on the size of the award. Thank you to our wonderful staff for doing a great job and earning the award again!
